This digital project is based on a series of interviews conducted over three decades in Hawaii, Latin America, and Ghana. Interviewees traced the processes by which they became engaged in the creative process in activities as diverse as healing, dance, visual arts, storytelling, and teaching. Narratives are accompanied by photographs from the field.
